Chick Dowd, owner & operator of Island Spirit Kayak is a certified ACA & BCU Instructor, world paddler, and native of Martha's Vineyard. GUIDED TOURS Every Day: Kayak & Beach Tour Explore hidden canals, coves, endangered wildlife, mollusk beds, and premier beaches. You will learn basic paddling skills while seeing the island from a new perspective. A brief beach time offers the opportunity practice any particular skills, kayak frisbee, or exploration of the island. Full Day Includes Vineyard Fare picnic: Sandwiches, fresh salads & fruit 1/2 Day: $55 Full Day: $105 MONDAY CHAMPAGNE & HORS'DORVES KAYAKING Island Spirit Kayak would like to invite you and your guests on a sunset paddle. Improve your paddling technique while enjoying fantastic views from the comfort of your own sea kayak, then toast the day with a champagne & oyster beach picnic. Adult: $65 Youth: $55 THURSDAY MOONLIGHT PADDLING Join us for an evening of moonlight paddling where you will have the opportunity to create sparkling wakes of phosphorescence, identify constellations, and search for nocturnal animals. Truly an experience to remember. Price per person: $55 Also Available Every Full Moon KAYAK KAMP 5-Day Kayak Kamp: $250 Available once a month in July and August for each age group. Classes are Monday though Friday, 3 hours each day. A Kayak Kamp T-shirt is awarded to each student upon completion of the course.
