Established in 1923, the Menemsha Inn is a charming inn and cottage compound nestled on 14 acres of flowering gardens and rolling woodlands, with moss-covered stone walls and wonderful ocean vistas. Our inn is an up island institution known for a secluded, relaxed atmosphere that is pure Vineyard. More than half of our guests are returning friends who find their only solace on departure is booking their return vacation. We offer six spacious carriage house rooms, nine well appointed inn rooms, eleven charming housekeeping cottages with kitchens and fireplaces, and our 2 bedroom Mainstay Suite. All carriage house rooms, and most inn rooms and cottages have spectacular water views overlooking Vineyard Sound, Cuttyhunk Island and the Gay Head lighthouse. All accommodations have cable television, VCRs, telephones and internet access. The Inn also offers a tennis court, gym, horseshoes and ping pong room.
