An informal, contemporary Bed & Breakfast in Vineyard Haven. Marni's House is within walking or biking distance of the ferry. The rooms are flooded with natural light, uncluttered and open. The many windows look out on an herb and flower garden with a goldfish pond that the deer and the ducks often visit. The West Chop Woods, with 80 acres of conservation forest, are across the street. A small public beach on the harbor is just a 10 minute walk for those who like early morning or late evening dips and the town beaches on the Sound are a short drive away. THE SUNRISE ROOM has a queen size bed and French doors that open onto a large deck. Its luxurious bathroom has a jacuzzi/soak tub. THE TOWER ROOM has a loft with a double futon and a double bed in the nook below. It's perfect for two friends or a couple with child. It includes a private half bath and a wonderful outdoor shower on it's own deck in the tree tops. THE TREEHOUSE ROOM has a private entrance and is attached to the main house by a walkway from its own deck with a tree growing through it. It has two twin beds or one king. The private bath in the room features an Asian soak tub/shower-- round and deep rather than long and shallow. This room accepts well behaved pets. Rates: In-Season:$150-$175 Off-Season:$110-$125 (No Minimum Stay) Open Year-Round There is a courteous but shy cat in residence who is not allowed in the bedrooms.
